Kate Spade Stylized Shoot
Creative thinking is such a vulnerable state of mind. When you find a person who understands this and does everything in their power to help you feel safe and supported, well then, you keep that person in your life forever This is how I feel about Callie Burgard. We met on Instagram and spoke for almost a year. Finally I had two reasons to visit Reno and this shoot is the result. Our theme was a Kate Spade inspired wedding with classic color scheme of navy, gold, and fuchsia pink. The bride was in a gorgeous dress from @tiffanysbridalboutique and she looked so beautiful and classic. Our groom was dressed in navy pants and a grey suit jacket which helped his boutonniere stand out! The Bridesmaids were both in floor length navy chiffon gowns that complimented the bride perfectly.
Callie specializes in event coordinating and just being an overall sweetheart. She found the perfect gold details and vendors to make this shoot a success. Our photographer was the one and only Anicia Beckwith (Pixella Productions), Make up by the lovely Laura Garcia and Hair by Marie Lear. Our linens were provided by Creative Coverings and we also had some of the most amazing macaroons I have ever had in my life all thanks to Whitney from @doughcatering. Last but not least we had the most adorable invitations, menues, and name place tags made by @thestylishscribe! Working with such a talented group of ladies really made me a better artist. It was so fun to bounce ideas off each other and create the perfect set up. This was the first time I decided to use real foliage with my paper flowers. WOW what a difference it makes.
I am super proud of this shoot. My goal was to show brides that their bouquet options are almost endless when you choose paper flowers. By adding real foliage you are bringing your bouquet up another level and you still get to keep the flowers for the rest of your life. What a wonderful way to remember one of the most important days of your life!
